IFCA Youth Ministry Summit is being planned for in 2023, not 2022

Youth ministry has often been more associated with the surrounding culture than with the faithful proclamation of God’s Word. In addition, many youth pastors fit the stereotype of merely being activity coordinators rather than Bible teachers.

Here at IFCA Youth Ministry, our singular goal is not to entertain teens, but to encourage and equip them for ministry in their local churches through faithful Bible teaching by those who have been called to that task.

To accomplish the goal of furthering this vision of Word-Centered youth ministry among local Bible-teaching churches and their leaders, we are excited to gather at Calvary University in Kansas City this fall for the first annual IFCA Youth Pastor Summit, October 11-13, 2021. If you are a youth pastor, youth volunteer, quiz team leader, or are just interested in furthering our vision, we would like to invite you to join us for fellowship, ministry training, and regional and national IFCA Youth Ministry planning. Who Should Come?

While we do have a particular passion for equipping and exhorting those men called as youth pastors of their local churches, this gathering is for both men and women who serve in youth and quizzing ministry. There will be training and encouragement for any and all youth ministers, quiz team coaches and leaders, and other youth ministry volunteers. We will also set aside time for regional ministry planning. Childcare will be provided for any ministry leaders who would like to bring their whole families.

Accommodations

Our gatherings and meals (vegetarian and gluten-free options available) will be on the campus of Calvary University in Kansas City, MO. Attendees from outside the Kansas City area will stay at a local hotel near the campus. Shuttle service will be provided for any attendees who fly into the Kansas City International Airport.
