The F.A.Q. below contains some important information for you and your youth leaders as you make your plans to meet us for a great week of encouragement and training for ministry.

2018 Convention F.A.Q.
  • Where and when is the IFCA Youth Convention?
  • The 2018 IFCA Youth Convention will take place at Appalachian Bible College, WV, on June 24-30, 2018.
  • Can we check-in early?
  • Registration is scheduled for Sunday, June 24 from 3-5 PM. If your group desires to check-in to rooms early please contact our registrar for details and fees.
  • When are the registration deadlines?
  • Registration for convention, MTA's and Bible Quizzing are all due by May 15.
  • Payments are due May 25. Late fees apply after these dates.
  • Will we be the only group on site?
  • Yes. The IFCA Youth Convention will be the only large group conference onsite for the week.
  • Are the area alternative housing options for those who need to arrive early?
  • Arriving early is an option. You must contact the registrar for details and cost breakdown.
  • What about bedding?
  • Linen packs are available for $18 and must be ordered in advance with your registration. Linen packs include pillow, sheets, pillow case, 2 bath towels, 2 wash clothes, and blanket. Of course, you may bring your own bedding.
  • What is the housing situation this year?
  • All delegates will be housed in dormitory style housing. Housing at ABC is limited and it is likely that some adults/couples will be housed offsite at a local motel 2 to 3 miles from the campus. If you are assigned to housing at the hotel and you have an "On Campus Registration", the cost of the hotel room will be included in your registration fee. Alternatively, you can select an "Offsite" registration and make your own housing arrangements. All students must register "On Campus" and will be housed in the dorms. Final decisions on housing will depend on the total number of registrations. Non delegate children will be housed with their parents.
  • What about air conditioning?
  • Some of the dorms at ABC are not air conditioned, however, the temperature usually cools down in the evenings. You are welcome to bring a box fan if you feel you may need one.
  • Who is the main session speaker for 2018
  • Our speaker for 2018 is Joe Casteñeda. He is the founder of Overboard Ministries. Check out his full bio here.
